Chris Allchin, owner of Banksia Arborcare, is a qualified arborist who has undertaken 8 years of study in arboriculture, horticulture and landscaping to gain a broad and varied understanding of tree and plant care. Commencing his career in horticulature in 1986 straight after school, Chris started Banksia Arborcare in 1996.

Chris has decades of experience in a wide range of tree services making Banksia Arborcare a trusted choice in providing trusted landscaping advice and solutions.

Arborist reports can be required by property owners, developers, and Councils to make informed decisions about tree management, preservation, and removal.

Arboriculture is a dangerous profession.  To keep property, people and animals safe when undertaking their work, the Banksia Arborcare team adhere to all Workplace Safety requirements, using the highest quality and most advanced equipment at all times.

  • wearing protective clothing and using well-maintenance equipment when undertaking tree services;
  • leaving property neat and tidy after completing tree services;
  • after tree removal, offering experienced advice on the planting of a new tree (where required);
  • supply and planting of new trees;
  • ensuring all pruning work complies with Australian Standard AS 4373;
  • discuss and recommend solutions to problematic trees and suggest appropriate courses of action;
  • assistance with Council’s tree removal regulations;
  • advice on native species and native fauna attracting plants endemic to your local area.
